I’m a summer person, so I’m not thrilled when December rolls around because it’s cold - well, cold to me (yes, even here in Southern California). Don’t laugh at me, those of you who live where winter is really cold (snow! ice! windshield scrapers!).

In winter, I have to wear extra layers of clothing, and I’m not happy about it because it creates too much laundry. But I guess I could say I’m happy about saving money by not putting on the heater just yet.

This is when having a cat comes in real handy.
A cat can be a warm fur layer and a purring heater.

Now, if only the cat would help out with the laundry. . .
