When my art gallery closed and I could no longer rely on their website for my online presence, I had to fend for myself.

It was time to get a website of my own.

How was I gonna do that?

From the get-go, I decided no way was I gonna do this daunting computer tech kind of art project by myself.

The first big obstacle was to decide if I was going to hire a website designer to build a custom website for me, and then pay them retainer fees to maintain and manage it for me.
Or, hire a website designer to help me put together a customized website using a Squarespace template, and then help me learn how to work on it myself.

I’m so fortunate to have met two wonderful solopreneur designers who helped me create and learn how to work on my artist website myself.
